As part of our creative collaboration with Lloyd's Inn, SERIAL CO_ was invited to stay in the space over in April to fully immerse ourselves in the natural environment of the space. Through this residency, we wanted to create something that fully reflected an individual's experience within the natural space of at Lloyds'. The experience, therefore, wasn't to create just another filter.
But to bring the experience of nature and homeliness into the digital spaceIn the creation of both filters, 'Secret Garden' & 'Light Hour', we wanted to transport our users into nature, all without moving an inch. We wanted to transform homes and man-made spaces into thriving locations for natural beauty. Encompassing Lloyds' Inn's timeless design of nature and architecture, with SERIAL's specialisation in creating hybridised spaces.Both filters explore the cross section of digital and natural architecture.
'Secret Garden' seeks to transform the natural environment into a 'nature' environment.
'Light Hour' on the other hand, mimics the atmospheric feel of cool shade under moving palms under a restful holiday.
